The Government of Uttar Pradesh on August 17, 2026, issued the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities (Third Amendment) Act, 2026 to further amend the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019.
The following amendment have been stated:
In Schedule-2 of the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019 after serial no. 54, the following serial number and the entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:—
55 - Maharshi Mahesh Yogi International Agriculture University, Bilhaur, Kanpur Uttar Pradesh -
Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Charitable Trust, Delhi
